Long Island Twitterers have spoken and the tie was broken by a landslide (8-0)!! LITweetup August will be on Friday August 21st. The next wuestion is:

LITweetup v2.0 was a great success! If you were there, please leave a comment and let us know how much fun you had.
If you missed it, don't worry the next one's coming up in about a month and all signs are pointing east for the location.

It'll be great to see everyone from LITweetup v1.0 and to get to meet some new people. If you're a twitter veteran or if you're brand new come on out and have a good time meeting all these virtual folks in real life. See if you can match people to their avatar.
Hopefully we'll get to meet some folks from the other tweetups that have been springing up on Long Island like the #Tweetgirls, the recent Hamptons Tweetup and the NHL Tweetups.
Let's see some arguing friendly discussion in the comments on potential locations.
We'll make a decision based on majority votes by Sunday 7/5.

I guess Ed (@emoltzen) is going to prove to us that Long Island isn't Twitterless after all. :) I'm grateful that he's pulling the #LITweetup together. I can't wait to network in more than 140!
