A Tweetup is a face to face gathering of people who are somehow connected on Twitter.

If you're like me when you first hear the word Tweetup you smile and nod knowingly.  Then as soon as no one can see you, you pull out your Blackberry or your laptop and google What is a Tweetup ;)  I found this video pretty helpful maybe you will too:

If you've never been to a Tweetup or a Meetup or a Barcamp or any of these crazy -ups or -camps, we can tell you 2 things:

1. You will have fun.
2. You will have fun.

So come hang out, socialize, network,  make new friends, embarrass current friends or just ignore everyone while you tweet on your iPhone. It's all good.
